Text element

The text element is good for building structure for the survey form and write instructional text. Links to other web pages can also be embedded in this element. Title and text can be added by typing or pasting copied texts.

By default the element shows the title and the text section. Both can be used at the same time, but the other can be removed with the small X on the top right corner of the fiel or via the element gear menu. In the menu remove selection either from ‘Show title’ or ‘Show text’.

The title and text section have slightly different editing options. In the title section you can choose the following options for the title text:

  • Formatting: Headers 1 – 5 and Paragraph (Header 3 is the same size as question text in question elements)
  • Bold, Italic, Underline and Deleted
  • Alignment: left, center, right and justify

In the text section you can choose the following options for the title text:

  • Bold, Italic, Underline and Deleted
  • Alignment: left, center, right and justify
  • Link (Use this to add links to other webpages etc. to the survey form)

Adding a link

To add links to external websites etc., activate the text section by clicking it and then click the Link-button. (Rightmost button) This opens a pop up where you can paste your link and type a masking text for the link. If you don’t wish to mask it with text, paste link to both fields. It is recommended to to keep the selection ‘Open link in a new tab’ always on.

The link is always added to the bottom of the element. You can cut and paste it to a different location in the text section.
