How do I close my survey?

  1.  Select the survey you wish to close from Your surveys list (or Shared with you list if you have rights to manage a shared survey)
  2.  Right-click on top of the survey in the list
  3.  Select 'Close survey' from the menu that appears
  4.  Select 'Close' from the pop up asking if you wish to close the survey

How do I change the 'Thank you for answering!' -text?

  1. In the Build view click the signpost button
  2. Select 'Edit language versions'
  3. The 'Thank you...' -text is the first available text visible in the pop up
  4. Edit the text (HTML-code can used)
  5. Click 'Save'

How can I send the survey invitation again to a single respondent?

  1. Open the survey
  2. Goto the 'Manage'-view
  3. Search and select the respondent from the list (You can select multiple if needed.)
  4. Click the button 'Edit' and select: 'Resend email invitation(s)' (The invitation(s) will be sent with the message text that was used in the original invitation to that respondent.)

What are sender profiles?

Sender profiles are needed for the unsubscribe feature to work. Due to privacy legislation in the EU and US, the person receiving the email invitation has to have the possibility to decide wether to receive such invites in the future from your organization. Next to the unsubscribe link there has to be the senders street or postal box address and the sender profiles allow you to save the address of your organization.

How do I make a copy of my survey?

  1. In the list of surveys view (Your surveys / Shared to me)  right-click with your mouse on top of the survey you wish to create a copy of (It can be a draft or open survey.)
  2. Select 'Duplicate...'
  3. Give the survey a new name
  4. Click 'Save'

  1. Open the survey you wish to create a copy of
  2. Navigate to the 'Build' view
  3. Click 'Save'
  4. Select 'Save as...'
  5. Give the survey a new name
  6. Click 'Save'
It takes around 15 seconds to the copy of the survey to appear in the list of your surveys.

How do I change sharing rights?

  1. Select a survey
  2. Look at the survey preview information at the bottom of the screen
  3. Click on the text 'You have shared this survey'
  4. Change rights from the drop down menus
  5. Click Share to save the new rights

How do I rename my survey?

  3. Give the survey a new name

Renaming a survey doesn't create a copy of it. See above topic in FAQ of how to make a copy.

How do I invite new respondents to my survey?

  1. Open the survey
  2. Navigate to the 'Distribute' view
  3. Select Email invitations
  4. Select 'Invite new respondents'

How do I send a reminder to the respondents?

  1. Open the survey
  2. Navigate to the 'Distribute' view
  3. Select Email invitations
  4. Select 'Send reminder'
  5. Select 'Response incomplete or not started' (Remember to select this option in every language if you have language versions.)

How can I get a notification of a new answer to my email?

    1. Open the survey from which you need to get new answer notifications
    2. Navigate to the 'Manage' view
    3. Click ‘Automations’
    4. If needed create a new automation ( + button on the lower left corner of the window)
    5. Set the condition to: ‘Any response given’
    6. Set the action to: ‘Send summary via email to following address(es) automatically’
    7. Fill the needed email address(es) to the Recipients -field
    8. Type a sender text you wish to show to the recipient (Do not use email address in this field)
    9. Type a topic and message (Message field should contain at least the text {{condsummary}} or {{summary}} if you wish to get recipients answer summary to the email notification)
    10. Save

Why is the average ranking in scale so low?

The reason may be that a verbal scale was used, in which the rankings go from good to bad, from left to right. You can change the scale to a numerical to correct the issue:
  1. Open the survey
  2. Navigate to the 'Build' view
  3. Search the scale questions and check if the verbal scale from good to bad was used
  4. Replace the scale words with numbers so that the best has the biggest number
  5. Click button 'Save' and select 'Save'
  6. Navigate to the 'Analyze' view
  7. Check scale mean value graph

Why doesn't scale mean graphs show the topic in powerpoint?

Scales might miss the 'Shared title for all statements'.
  1. Open the survey
  2. Navigate to the 'Build' view
  3. Search the scale questions and check if the 'Shared title for all statements' is empty
  4. Add title to the scales that best describes the statements
  5. Click button 'Save' and select 'Save'
  6. Navigate to the 'Analyze' view
  7. Check if the scale mean value graphs have topics
