The program makes automatic background saves in the survey. Auto saving means that the program saves the answer even if the respondent has not yet pressed the "Submit" button. The first auto save is made when all the mandatory questions on the first page have been answered. Thereafter, the auto save continues as the survey progresses, and a save is made at each change of page.
For certain types of surveys, it may be necessary to prevent saving the answers too early. This could be the case, for example, for a contact form where it is necessary to prevent the saving of partial responses in cases where a response is not completed. The reason for this preventing the save may be a situation in which one wants to prevent unnecessary accumulation of data.
In such a situation, it is advisable to keep the survey as a single page and add a mandatory question at the end of the survey, e.g. of the following form.
